Why we do it

In the past 30 years, the number of extremely poor people (living on less than $1.9 a day) has fallen from 1.9 billion to 740 million.

However, the number has risen in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Out of those, +70% are smallholder farmers.

We must act now.

Working very closely with smallholder farmers on the ground to form "Degas Farmer Network".
